How is your firm different from the many virtual assistant firms out there?

Hello, faithful reader! It’ Productivity Pam and this is part of a series on ContemporayVA and how we work.

There are lots of virtual assistants out there – some with firms; some independent – and sometimes people ask us how we’re different. It’s a fair question and we’re open enough to admit that there are cheaper VA’s out there. However, there are more expensive ones out there, too, and CVA is the answer that many entrepreneurs are looking for – good value delivery from well-trained VA’s.

In fact, CVA was designed to address many of the key challenges and issues that entrepreneurs faced when using VA’s. For example, entrepreneurs often report the following challenges they’ve faced from others and how it is solved by our solution:

The Challenge:
Having their VA quit, leaving them stranded mid-project

Our Solution:
Each Platinum Plan client has a VA and a Back-Up VA, who has been trained on their work at no cost, to cover the primary VA in case of emergencies.

The Challenge:
Paying extreme hourly prices for general administrative work

Our Solution:
We know that sometimes you may need a more advanced individual for things such as web design or marketing. However, you should not have to pay those same prices for general administrative tasks. Our administrative virtual assistant packages range from $20 – $17.50/hour. Of course we have more advanced people on staff for you to use at a higher rate on an as-needed basis.

The Challenge:
Wanting to leave their VA for whatever reason, but being afraid to because they did not know how to do everything the VA was doing for them

OurSolution:
Each Platinum Plan client has an operations manual created by their VA, at no cost to the client. If you ever wanted to leave us, you take your manual with you. We don’t want to hold your work hostage.

The Challenge:
Sometimes they need to scale up due to an event or promotion, and their VA just does not have the time

Our Solution:
Each client has an assigned account manager (a Client Advocate or a Project Manager, depending on the type of account), if you need more help, you let them know. WE CAN scale for you easily. Think of us as the “Cloud” VA solution.

The Challenge:
Not wanting to have to micro-manage their VA’s by answering the million-and-one questions the VA has

Our Solution:
You don’t have to. All VA’s come to their project manager with questions first, we don’t want to bombard you with email, your time is valuable and we will respect that.

The Challenge:
Where do they go if there is a problem? They are afraid that their VA will leave them or quit if they get a little harsh.

Our Solution:
You don’t have to manage your VA’s at CVA if you don’t want to, let your PM know there is a problem, and we will take care of all the managerial headaches.

The Challenge:
Getting billed for work they were not satisfied with

Our Solution:
Our 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied, we will work relentlessly at no cost to you until you are.

The Challenge:
Worried about padding hours

Our Solution:
Our VA’s all operate on a clock-in/clock-out system. There is no manual entry of time and it is supervised by our time clock manager who ensures each task’s time logged is not excessive for the work done. You can monitor approved time in real time via your online control panel (called the CVA Client Center).
See? Our goal when creating CVA was not to re-invent the wheel and be like every other VA or VA team out there. It was a solution to existing problems.

Stay tuned for my upcoming blog, What can a CVA do or not do?
