How E-Books Can Help Your Business

59/365: Lectura

You see them everywhere these days. Small kids to grandmothers are using them. But what are they? E-readers! They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and have a variety of features. Can this fad really help your business? Yes definitely.

Publishing E-books can be a great marketing tool and can also make you money for your business at the same time. The most popular E-book platforms are free to publish. They take a percentage of your sales to publish your content. Kindle allows you the biggest percentage of your proceeds by keeping your books affordable, which in this economy is good news for everyone. You get the biggest commission from sales by pricing your books from .99 to 9.99. You can also give sneak peeks of your products in E-book format for free. You may be asking how your business is going to profit if you are giving your materials away. Well here’s how…. You use the E-books as a marketing tool. You get your name, contact info, website etc. out there to millions of E-book users at one time. You also give your customers a sneak peek that you really do know what you are talking about and make them want to do further business with you. So by pricing your book for say .99 you just closed a sale for a coaching package for a few hundred bucks. Get the picture now?

You don’t need any fancy publishing equipment to publish E-books either. All you really need is Microsoft Word and a digital platform such as Amazon for Kindle, or Barnes and Noble for Nook. It is as easy as 1-2-3.

You may be saying, but I don’t write books, so  I don’t have anything to publish… Wrong. E-books can be pretty much anything. You can compile articles from your monthly newsletters; take questions and answers from your FAQ’s, that bonus free report you sent out to new customers, pretty much anything can be turned into an E-book. If you have content someone is going to want to read it. You could be missing millions of potential customers by not publishing E-books. So what are you waiting for? This is just another one of the many ways that CVA can help you meet your business needs.
