Delegate, Focus, and GROW Your Business

Featured Weekend Reading (04/13/2012)

Pink on blue in the sunshine

Happy Friday the 13th! It is that time again, that’s right the weekend is finally here. We have all worked hard and been very productive this week so now its time to get the weekend started with style. So get off the computer, and get up and relax, rewind and enjoy! The weekend is finally here!

So whether you are dodging bad luck, laying out in the yard in your hammock and painting up the town, we hope you will take time out to enjoy the great posts we have chosen for you this week. Here are just a few:

  • How to Write Blogs That Are Optimized for Search Engines-Everyone lately has a blog, from grandmothers to young children. Everyone feels compelled to tell what they are thinking. But did you know that blogging can also help your business? The purpose of blogging is to drive traffic to your website. Let’s face it no traffic, no sales, and then no business.  Be sure to check out InsideOut’s Solutions great blog for some tips on getting your blogs picked up by search engines and increasing your traffic.
  • Sharing for Success-Women by nature like to think that we are superwomen and can handle things on our own. This often leaves us feeling overwhelmed. Then we start resenting those that we feel like aren’t helping us out. If this sounds like you, then you have to be sure to check out Empowering Mum’s blog to learn how to share your household roles and not being controlled by them.
  • One Thing You Can Do That Will Help Eliminate Your Overwhelm, Anxiety, and Burn Out-We all face obstacles in our life from time to time, we start worrying about things, and before you know it you are facing signs of sleeplessness, being tired all the time and maybe even depression. If this continues long term you can start to feel burnt out. If any of this sounds like you, then check out Sara’s blog to learn how you can eliminate overwhelm, anxiety and burnout today.
  • Lets face it with the busy world that we live in we are all guilty of trying to multitask. Our cellphones have become like mini personal computers allowing us to check email, talk and send a tweet without missing a beat. But can multitasking do your business harm? The answer is yes. Attempting to do too much at once can lead to stress, and can block your creativity and problem solving skills.
  • E- Learning and You- Technology has transformed the way we do everything. The way we bank, the way we communicate and even the way we learn. Our thirst for knowledge can now be satisfied with a few clicks of the mouse instead of having to drive to the local library and searching for the right book. Be sure to check out Oriana’s blog to learn more about how e-learning could be right for you.

That’s all for this week. All of us here at CVA wish you a great weekend. See you next week with more great posts. Are you superstitious of Friday the 13th? We’d love to hear about it!  Leave us a comment in the comments section. See you next week and be sure to visit Contemporary VA’s Stumble Upon Blog for even more featured posts.
