Featured Weekend Reading (07/20/2012)

Drumroll please……. It’s Friday! That’s right folks our favorite day of the week is finally here. Not a moment too soon either! We have all had a busy week at CVA but now its time to relax and unwind and get our weekend on. So what are you waiting for?

Whether you are trying to stay dry from the thunderstorms or just trying to beat the heat, we hope you will take time out to check out the great posts we have chosen for your weekend reading. Here are just a few:

  • 7 Reasons to Run a Virtual Bootcamp- Are you placing a limit on your income by not having virtual bootcamps and only helping one person at a time? Did you know that if you held a bootcamp you could increase your income as well as help more people? Be sure to check out Nicola’s blog to learn some great reasons why you should be having a virtual bootcamp.
  • Discipline Yourself and Your Children- Is your home udder chaos or is it harmonious because you effectively discipline your children? There are always things we can do as moms to improve the way we discipline our children, but first we have to take a look at ourselves and start there. If you need tips to discipline your children then you cant miss PJs great podcast and learn the 7 P’s of discipline.
  • Sanity Saver: Parallel Parenting– Many families are now parallel parenting. This is when you can no longer peacefully get along to co- parent, so you choose to parent your children separately from your ex. You don’t have any communication with the ex; you let your lawyers handle it all. Check out Allana’s great blog to learn why parallel parenting was a sanity saver for her.
  • Trust Your Procrastination- When you receive a task to do, do you jump in with both feet right away or do you often put things off? Did you know that not starting something right away isn’t really procrastination? Procrastination is not doing the things that need to be done. Next time you are putting off starting something and can’t figure out why try trusting your procrastination. It could be that you are making room for better things. Check out Kate’s blog to learn more reasons why you should trust your procrastination.

That’s all for this week. All of us here at CVA wish you a great weekend. See you next week with more great posts. How is the weather in your area? We’d love to hear about it!  Leave us a comment in the comments section. See you next week and be sure to visit Contemporary VA’s Stumble Upon Blog for even more featured posts.
