Client Success – Why I Love Being a CA

The CVA Client Advocate (CA) Team takes great interest in our clients’ business success. We want to see our clients succeed, as it helps us succeed as well. Two thousand thirteen was a great year here at CVA, as we watched both our clients’ and CVA’s businesses grow. I enjoy seeing a client, not only satisfied with our work, but reaching and completing goals. That’s the real joy of my job, and why I love being a Client Advocate.

Looking back over 2013, it was a time of personal growth for many of our clients. Each year, as we begin each year setting goals for each quarter and the year overall, I like to work one-on-one with my clients to ensure we’re on a path to meet those goals. I’d love to share a couple of last year’s success stories with you.

List building at its best

In quarterly strategy sessions, one of our clients  shared that they were not seeing the hoped for results from their list. During the third quarter we reviewed a new social media plan that emphasized promoting opt-in gifts, while we revamped the entire opt-in area on the client’s site. By reworking the introduction, the presentation of the opt-in gift, and increasing promotions, the client’s list grew by 5% over the previous quarter. As we move into 2014, we’re planning a more comprehensive strategy to retain those new members.

Does Google know I’m here?

The Client  Advocate team works with each of our clients to seek areas of improvement, and to make the most of their time with CVA. A strategy session is when most of the planning and suggestions can take root and develop into something tangible.

A client new to taking their business online was struggling to gain visitors to their website, or to even be noticed by a search engine. We reviewed the various components of their website to see what could be improved. I suggested that the client begin blogging more frequently. With only one or two blogs every few months, there wasn’t enough fresh content for Google to even see the site.

We put together a blogging calendar and scheduled various topics. We also worked very closely with the VA to create just the right tone, so she could take on the full responsibility of writing the blog posts. After working hard to maintain fresh content and nurture a great social media presence, the client now appears in the first page of Google Rankings. It was a great moment for the client and for me.

Being part of the Client Advocate Team is rewarding due, in part, to being able to share in different aspects of the client’s business. We work hard for our clients’ success. If you’re struggling about your next steps, how to create the right content, or getting interaction and visitors to your site, reach out to the Client Advocate Team. We’re happy to help make your business great in 2014!
