Delegate, Focus, and GROW Your Business

Become a Delegation Master

How can you become a delegation master?  Delegation is one of the hardest parts of working with a Virtual Assistant.  It is also one of the most important skills that you should possess as you begin your working relationship.  Contemporary VA’s free e-course ’21 Days to Delegation’ provides you with daily emails to help you succeed.  Below are some of the key points from the first five days!

  • Leverage Your Efforts: “Delegation gives you the benefit of leveraging effort. It’s a strange-but-true equation that, in delegation, one plus one equals three. Yes, everywhere else in life, one plus one equals two; but in delegation, one plus one equals three.”
  • Time is Money: “Everyone only has 24 hours to spend in a day. By trying to do everything yourself, you’ll end up stretched thin across numerous tasks and like other business owner, you won’t be able to accomplish everything you want to accomplish.”
  • Manage Your To-Do List: “Many business owners start off by delegating just a few tasks to their Virtual Assistant. Sometimes it’s just a bit of a ‘test’ to see if they can effectively do the work. More often though, it’s simply because the business owners don’t realize the extent of the work that can be delegated! Be ready to revisit your task list one to two months into your delegating relationship and you just might save yourself even more time and money than you think is possible right now!”
  • Blow Up Your Projects: “Complex, high-value projects might be ‘mission critical’ to the business’ success, but they still offer opportunities to delegate.”
  • Do the Work You Love: “When you get rid of the work that you don’t like to do, it changes everything. Where you might have enjoyed six hours out of an eight hour workday, you’re suddenly able to fill that two hour void with work you do enjoy.”

These are just some of the key points from the first five days.  During the 21 day e-course you will get tips, tricks, and even assignments.  Sign up for the course in the section to the right to become a delegation master!
