When you’re actually soaking, try not to let your mind wander toward work. Instead, listen to a podcast, read a book or a magazine, or simply zen out and enjoy your time alone.

Go for a Run (or Do Another Type of Exercise You Enjoy)

Everyone knows that exercise gives you endorphins, which improve your mood and make you feel great. So why not implement that into your relaxation routine? Go for a long run after work, or try another type of exercise that you might enjoy like yoga, Pilates, or a group exercise class like kickboxing. Try working in regular exercise into your routine and you’d be surprised at how much better you’ll feel physically and mentally.

Hang Out with a Friend

One of the best remedies for anything is laughter—and who always makes you laugh? Your friends. Invite one or multiple friends out to dinner or to grab a few cocktails one evening after work. Watch a Movie or Read a Book You Love

Another great way to relax after work is to watch a movie or read a book you love.
