As a Virtual Assistant, I think one of the most valuable things I can do is understand where the client is and how I can get them to the next level. It is important to me to see my clients continue to move forward within their business and be successful! I can get my clients to the next level by understanding their industry and customers, focusing on their goals, and really taking the time to listen to their needs.

It is so important to not only understand my clients but to also understand their industry and their customers. The success of my clients relies on me understanding what their industry is about. As well as, what it is that their customers want. I do research and have that information, so I am prepared to discuss ideas and opportunities relevant to their industry. Having this knowledge is a great way to focus on their specific goals and help them succeed!

Focusing on my client’s goals is an essential part in helping them move forward to the next level. I find that it is easy to identify the main goals for my clients by simply talking to them. Asking where they want to be and what they want to accomplish. We then brainstorm ideas together to create a plan of opportunities to accomplish their goals. Measuring their progress and tracking achievements along the way helps to see where we may need to make changes to help achieve their goal faster.

My clients truly value it when I take the time to really listen to their needs. To know where they stand. It is important to be there to listen to their concerns or issues. Then I can understand exactly what it is they need to move forward to that next level. When I listen to my clients, it helps them feel supported and lets them know that I am there for them. Which in return, helps build trust and a good working relationship. In my experience, it is also important to stay connected with my clients throughout the process. Providing them with updates on their goal progress so they can offer any feedback they may have.

As Steve Jobs said, “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” I love what I do as a Virtual Assistant! I love getting to know my clients and being able to help move them to that next level of success!
